I would really like to see how many of these people that bash Bush and the U.S. all the time, would dodge the draft if it was implemented. "Bush dodged the draft, Clinton dodged the draft....whats that I see on the news the draft is being started again....Hello, travelocity I need a plane ticket..."

Well, we need a draft
If you leave without a passport and try to come back into the United States, then obviously you've resigned your citizenship- as such, you can't come back

So, let'em go!

Bush lied his way, Clinton lied his way,,,,I'd guess 40% of them would leave.

Cowards- they like the freedom others buy with blood, but they're not brave enough to fight for them

Some of the biggest complainers of LBJ and "Nam were the best soldiers.

I'd say draft dodging would be a 50-50 issue.

I think you're missing the point. The reason why we get angry that Bush, Cheney, etc., skipped out on doing THEIR military service is that Bush, Cheney, etc., are now sending other people to die in a war for their benefit.

Remember, George Washington was at Valley Forge. I'd have a lot more respect for a political leader who would be willing to PROVE he believes in a war by fighting in it himself.
