ok so the area of a trapezoid equasion looks like this
1/2(8+6)9. so 1/2(14)9, (7)(9), 63. so 63 is the areaof a trapezoid. i don't know how it pertains to golf, but i guess you do. hope this helps.

Those are really short golf shots, and putts are typically measured in feet.
