Yeah Jean!

Few weeks ago, I had to put down my oldest boxer at 9 years old-cancer. The one I had before her only made it to three because some P.O.S. S.O.B gave him anti freeze.

With regular care, exercise, and lots of love, they can expect to live from 8 to 12 years. (There are exceptions, obviously)

The boxer I have now is 10 months old-she may not make it to 11 if she doesn't quit chewing my shoes!

I love boxers particular the greatest dog to protect children.

if healthy, and no hip displaysia problems these dogs can live for upwards of 16 or 17 years or more. Taking good care of the Boxer and having regular vet checks is the key.

good luck ... they are such great dogs.

my neighbors two boxers sat and protected my infant son when he fell in my mother's back yard and my mother did not hear him crying. they refused to let anyone come near him until I got there from work. You will never find a more devoted dog to children.

About 11-14 years. My neighbor's boxer lived to be 19, then had to be put to sleep. It depends on how they're treated and raised and stuff like that.

depends on a lot of things. If the beastie is healthy and well taken care of he can live to be as old as my good old guy who died when he was 18. The usual lifespan is about 12-14 years. That's what my breeder said.
