Before I got a picture of myself on MySpace, I put a picture of someone else on there. So my friend that I haven't seen in many years, thought that was me. Then I put up a picture of my real self, and he stopped talking to me. I never lied to him and said "Yeah, this is me" or anything like that. I guess he assumed that it was me.

So is there anything I can do or say to make him not mad at me?

He might not be mad at you - you don't want to start jumping to conclusions.
Maybe he's not been on myspace for a while. Maybe he was just a little shocked.
Send him a message explaining and if he doesn't get back to you after 2 weeks? Let it go - he's obviously an idiot who you shouldn't waste your time on!

Why did you put up the wrong pic in the first place where you trying to hide something. Just put yourself in his shoes wouldn't you be mad if you were played? Just know the worst way to start anything thing off is with a lie. He will probably never trust you again and yeah you think it was just some stupid picture but oviously it was more then that to him. Good luck you have alot of fast talkin to get out of this one it seems like

You call this guy a friend?

I dont know this guy at all but let me make an educated guess as to what his thought process was. Probably something like this:

"Whoa! That's Mary? I havent seen her in years and she looks real good. I bet I have a chance with her."

"Wait a sec, what happened to the pic? This one doesnt look nearly as good. Forget this."

So I doubt that this guy is really a "friend".

Just tell him you are sorry and apologize for deceiving him and explain your motivations. He may be right to be angry, but there are good reasons for not putting your real pics on the net. If he doesn't understand, then likely he is interested in looks only and you probably don't want a guy like that anyway.

Why even be concerned? It's not called "My Space" for nothing. Lots of people put up photos of other people for self protection. If you're under 18, it's a good idea to do this anyway.

tell him to quit being a democrat (jack@$$..its there mascot) and to cry you a river, build you a bridge, and get over it.

or tell him you had no pictures of yourself at the moment so you put that up... though he might think its creepy you had a picture of someone else up.. or you didnt want any chester molesters or anything so you did it for your own protection.. hmmm... this is a hard question to answer.

just talk to him

You don`t have to do anything, you haven`t done anything wrong. If he has stopped talking to you then the problem is with him and you don`t need to worry.Ask yourself,if you hadn`t put up a picture would he have spoken to you in the first place?
