If a woman smiles AND flirts with a man, does that mean that she is interested in him? What should the appropriate response be?

okay if a girl smiles and flirts sometimes they are just smiling and flirting.it doesnt always mean theyre interested.many women just enjoy the conversation or w/e they arent always loooking for soemthing..if it keeps going and getting more serious then maybe she is.

Most guys would think that, but it depends on the girl. There are some girls who flirt just for fun (like me) which doesn't mean they're interested at all. There are girls who don't even KNOW they're flirting and giving the guy the wrong idea. But there are girls who flirt so the guy would understand that she's interested. So it actually depends on the girl. I'm not helping much am I?
When I like a guy, I don't talk to him at all, I'm too shy, I try to avoid him. I only flirt with guys I DON'T like. But then again, that's just me.

Nope it doesn't mean she's interested. I know plenty of girls who flirt and don't even realize it! Actually I'm one of them, and that landed me into some trouble! So a women may be flirting with you, but she may not be interested! But if your absolutly sure she is interested, flirt back! Light touch, smiles, etc.

I'm with Aozora. You'll know I like you if I ignore you! If I flirt with you, I've had a good day, and I'm outgoing at the moment. Doesn't mean I like you. Just be open with the girl. If you like her, tell her!

you used the word "flirting" in your explanation to the question when your question is, "is she flirting" so in all honesty you wouldn't know if she's flirting or not..

not always, some woman are just pathological flirts, they flirt with anything with a penis :)...they do it for attention :)......if this is happening to you, just ask her.
