I don't think so. I mean, the high alcohol content would kill off anything even if it WAS growing something... wouldn't it? That's my thinking anyway! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

If the bottle was closed, it should be fine.

I work at a bar, and we usually go through the vodka quickly enough that nothing happens, even though the bottles are open to the elements (pour spouts).

We've had the occasional problem with Vermouth since it sits out so long and is sweet (flies seem to get into it).

To my knowledge, though, we've never had any alcohol in the bar go bad, and we've had some of the stuff for a long time (Anisette, Galliano, etc.)

No, spirits do not go bad. Now said that, Smirnoff, is not exactly a high quality vodka. So, depending your preferences, it may nver be good. Although, stick it in the freezer overnight, and try it the next day. It might be good, but again, depending on your preferences.

Just a little reminder, you should keep all Vodka's in freezers.

With alcohol content of 40+ it is very unlikely it can go bad, even unopened.

Anyway, Alcohol going bad means to was converted vinegar.

If the cap was on then no problem. The alcohol will kill bacteria. Only potential problem is without the cap the alcohol content will evaporate..

No, I wouldn't believe so. As I understand it, alcohol doesn't get bad. Some of it just gets better with age.
