well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and looks away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? this has been going on since december. i'm just really confused now. does she like me? i don't know what to do

If she said no, she probably feels bad and maybe thinks that you hate her now. No girl likes to turn down a guy, but sometimes they just dont feel the same towards them, you know? She probably just wants to be your friend. Try talking with her more, and seeing if hse wants to study wtih you sometime, or go to a movie, and say, just as friends. That will probably lighten up the situation. I wouldn't persue anything more than a friendship with her unless she asks you out or indicates she really does like you.

She doesn't like you and she's a pain. Stay away, unless maybe you want to tell her you notice she's been looking at you. After you do this, she will give you a weird look, like she thinks you are crazy. Then she will either just walk away, or first say something stupid, and then walk away.
Let her go.

you probably were better off as simply good friends, but now that you approached her in a more personal way, it's hard for her to look at you and see the same person as before. It's harsh but true, things might not go back to the way they were.

it could be possible, but people can tend to feel akward after all that. You can try asking her about what happend and everything else. It does seem like you still like this girl so it wouldn't hurt that bad, i mean it has been a while since ths happended.

She might have heard about the incedint and that's why she's shy, OR her friends got jeaoulus because they thought that she would spenmd more time with you than with them. Or you could just ask her upfront straight.
