I want to know if its legal.Can I listen to Video game music on it? Do I have to pay for it?If its illegal is there any other sites that have stuff like limewire that is legal.Have you downloaded limewire? Do you recomend limewire.All these questions are things I want to know.Please give a full anwser.

So would it just be safer not to download limewire. You know you said that 90% of the stuff on there is copyright.

Limewire is a P2P Application. To use Limewire isnt illegal. However 90% or more of the files shared are of copyright material and you will be breaking the law downloading these files. All access to the internet can be monitored. And alot of countries will track download IP addresses and trace them. If you are seen downloading known copyright material they can come knocking on your door. This goes with all P2P software (DC++, Torrent, and so on)
Additional Information:
ANY music, video or other material you download off the internet via ANY means which is copyrighted by its owner IS against the law. If something costs money, you have to pay for it, unless the original owner has given you direct permision to duplicate their work.

Technically, Limewire is completely legal and safe. If you install it, you'll see that you have to promise not to download any copyrighted material.
On the other hand, almost everything on Limewire is copyrighted and/or loaded with spyware and viruses.
If you put songs with viruses from Limewire on your iPod, it could mess it up forever. I strongly do NOT recommend downloading it. It's really not worth it. Just buy a song for a dollar on iTunes like everybody else.

Limewire is a Peer to Peer (P2P) program which creates a link between peoples computer in order to transfer files (music, films, pictures etc)
Limewire itself is legal, but you can easily download copywrited material using it which is not legal.
Bittorrent is a bit like limewire but you often have to find the files yourself rather than just searching.

The full answer is to uninstall "Limewire" and install "Bitcomet" it faster and is the best PTP around.
