I think its a really good thing and I think that the EU will use Turkey to help us in these problems that we have. I also think that some of the EU rules will now take into account Turkey having a majority Muslim population and this will help other nations. Turkey is very positive on integration and I think all of Europe will benefit if they look how they do it.
I also love Turkish Delight but this is by the by...

there are so many ignorant people here talking about human rights in turkiye. i think they should research their country first and see what the difference is in human rights. the model of turkish law constitution is a lot similar to switzerland law constitution's model. what you were criticizing about is all nonsense and the things that you cannot answer the similar laws in your country.

turkiye is muslim but at the same time the unique laic muslim country; there are also non-muslim people but as a result, if they say "we are turkish", they are all turkish citizens without distinction.

Turkey won't be allowed to join the EU until they clean up their human rights situation, it's not very good at the moment.

EU membership will give Turkish muslims the ability to move easily between European countries and that could lead to more terrorist attacks, so it's not a good thing to me.
