Probably did not have one on account that it wasn't the culture. More probably known as Jesus, the Carpenters son or Jesus son of Joseph. Or possibly Jesus, The Nazarene. It would not have been Christ as earlier suggested as The Christ is synonymous with The Messiah. This is a title associated with Jesus after the Resurrection.

Issa, or Ishowah bin Yusuf to the people back then. But as The Son of God he really didn't have a last or surname.

He did not have one. His last name is not "of Nazareth" as someone answerd. He is called Jesus of Nazareth because he grew up there though he was born in Jerusalem. And his last name is not christ. Christ was the name given to him by the apostles. Jesus did not have a last name. Jus like Mary and Joseph didnt have last name.

Jesus is the son of God, & since God has no surname, neither does Jesus.

He didn't have a surname...and it's certainly not Christ. Christ is his title. So, by saying Jesus Christ, you are agreeing that he is the Son of God and Savior. You could also call him Jesus the Christ.

In earthly terms, there were no surnames then. He was "of Nazarene" or of Joseph the Carpenter and Mary

His name was Yeshua Bar Yosef. That is Hebrew for Jesus, son of Joseph.
