I worked in an eye doctor's office as an ophthalmic technician for about a year- those are not floaters (which form as you get older and the interocular fluid in your eyes starts to form little solid globs). Actually dots like that just inidicate that your blood pressure has suddenly changed. It happens sometimes when people get up too fast, let the blood rush to their head and then change positions, or yes, yawn. I get them alot myself. So, it sounds like you're perfectly fine. Unless you're spontaneously seeing black particles moving across your line of vision, or flashes of light, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

The only thing I can think of is that this may be a form of synesthesia- a harmless neurological condition characterized by the 'mingling' of the senses. If you're looking for more information on that, check out http://www.mixsig.net . I'm not entirely sure though.
It could also be some malfunction in your eyes or simply stress-related. You might want to talk to a doctor about it though just to be sure.

My guess is that you are seeing what most people call floaters. It is actually residual embryonic tissue inside the vitreous humor (the fluid inside your eye). If it is a real problem, or is continuous, consult your doctor. It could also be due to head trauma, which if you have recently suffered it, you should also see your doctor. Trauma or disease could cause pressure on the retina or optic nerve. Again, if it hurts, see your Dr.

It could be Floaters which is where fluid gets caught in the eye due to stress and hormonal changes. I suggest you see an eye doctor.

Perfectly normal, it happens to everybody. I think it's little specs in your eye fluid.
Definately NOT a mental health issue.
