your cake will taste like your chicken
bake your cake first
then put your chicken in the hot oven
your chicken can bake while your cake cools and you frost it

The aroma from the chicken may bake into the cake. It will reduce the heat in which the cake receives and you would have to change the time in which you cook the cake.

Your cake might have a chicken smell to it. Which could turn you off to its taste.

you need to bake these seperately. the flavors definitely could intermingle
