People are simply rude to each other. Don't think your race has anything to do with it. We all experiance this.

I think people hold against all Mexicans the works of a few. The fact is many of the Mexicans we get over here are not wanted in Mexico either, this reflects badly on those who are good folks. The problem is people can't tell the difference and are too lazy to try. Instead they vote in laws to restrict the rights of everyone and treat brown people like piss. Also, the massive influx of any population poses a threat to people who are already there regardless of race. The final straw is that Mexican guys like to date white girls, but when white guys are with a Mexican gal they give her crap and him too. So its a pretty complex situation, but this covers alot of it. I think people want to see more of a molding to American culture as well. Not throwing parties after Sept 11th and such.<-- though I doubt this was done out of spite.

Because that some people didn't learn self respect, and its not about, white, black, Indian or Mexicans, it's in people's understanding, knowledge, its about a person . When a person needs attention, or hurting then they will say things to others to hurt anyone. It can be anyone.I always just think that well this person is just having a bad day and move on.You know that is person is no better then you because you are not like this person so just move on. There is a word for this person called bulling.

Honestly I really am not sure. I am part panamanian, not Mexican but I know a lot of Mexicans that are the nicest, most caring people you will ever meet. My boyfriend and his mother passed away 3 months ago and they were Mexican They were truly angels on earth and would do anything for anyone..I know where they are, en el cielo and I know I will meet with them again..I'm sorry if you are dealing with racist people..I am a christain and I respect every nationality..

Every group that enters another country to work is seen as the lower class and it is like that all over the world.
Many of the people who are rude to them are the same people who employ them and have learned a lot of their ways like when
They pretend to not understand english when it benefiets them or to do less work but they understand when they want to.
A few things like that and they lose respect as a whole just from some ad people doing it.

Because they are ignorant. I have never had a problem with Mexican people. They are always nice to me and I'm always nice to them. Even though some may not know English well, it doesn't make them unintelligent. A smile and kindness translates in any language.

i think it's because they hear you speaking spanish around them and it makes them feel like you are talking about them. it doesn't bother me in the least, the way i feel about mexicans is they are very hard working, and family oriented people, and i would rather have that than a bunch of muslims anyday. at least mexican people don't make me question what's going to happen when i get on an airplane. yeah, i know i'm going to get a bunch of b.s. because they are going to say i'm racist. guess what i don't care, mexicans don't put fear in the american people, muslims do. that's not racist, that's fear. so if they don't like it tough shi*
