2 John 7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
1 John 4:3 "And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
In Revelation 13:3 the beast of the sea is often viewed as an antichrist figure.
2 Thesssalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."
"Falling away" - is the great and final apostasy or repudiation of the Christian faith that will occur at the appearance of the son of perdition (antichrist)- man of lawlessness. Beast out of sea in Rev.13:1, little horn in Dan 7:8, and false Christ in Rev. 13:15-17
Falling away, withdrawal or defection from the truth. Could be false teachers, temptation, worldliness, inadequate knowledge of Christ, moral lapse, forsaking spiritual living and worship, or just plain old unbelief. While there are those in every generation who fall away, this will be a general condition prior to the revelation of the antichrist. Sounds familiar to me.

I personally am not a Christian, and do not believe in the concept of an anti-Christ.
But in the First Epistle of John (I believe), it is written that the anti-Christ is a man who denies that "Jesus is the Christ", and denies the Father and the Son.
According to the Bible, the anti-Christ could be plural, and referring to anybody.

Christian denominations disagree on what will happen in the end times, and the role that Satan and the Antichrist will play. Among those who believe that the Antichrists of whom John was writing are instead a single individual and expect this one to arise in the future, there is a consensus that sometime prior to the expected return of Jesus, there will be a period of "trials and tribulations" during which the Antichrist, inspired by Satan, will attempt to win supporters with great works, and will silence anyone or make enemies of any country that refuses their allegiance (by refusing to "receive his mark" on their foreheads or right hands). This "mark" is expected to be required to legally partake in commerce, as noted in the book of Revelation. Some Christians believe that the Antichrist will be assassinated half way through the Tribulation, being revived and indwelt by Satan. The Antichrist will continue on for three and a half years following this.
May God bless you

The Anti-Christ is not a person but a systematic way of thinking.

That word has always confused me when it is used by Christians. Anti is easy, but Christ means, literally, anointed one. It does not mean God. It does not mean Messiah. It quite probably means Jesus the anointed Magus, as Jesus was anointed by the three Magi soon after his birth to follow in their way of Magick. Which Jesus the
Christ Magus did. (Jesus the anointed of the Magi)
Therefore, the only Anti-Christs I could think of is Christians who denigrate Magick and those who follow its ways.

The anti-christ is a metaphor for the seductive power of a powerful dictator on the masses. The anti-christ is not a specific person, but a rare type of person who can gain support easily and is affable.

I guess that you could say that I am the anti christ. I deny the concept of god, so I am anti-christ

Maybe the real Antichrist is an it. Like the natural laws of physics. It seems that our interpretations are flawed regardless. It appears from alleged bible and religious prophecy we'll be finding out real soon. While Jesus may have spoken of forgiveness he also spoke of natural disasters as well. The real truth may be stranger or more simple than fiction.

Anti means against or in place of. Many strands of logic in Scriptures point to the pope. Martin Luther taught that.
