Try massaging/squeezing the fleshy part of your hand between the thumb and first finger. When you find a sore area, work into it. This is a chinese medicine 'pressure point' and almost always works for me.

First of all, let me extend my sympathies for your side effects - I am extremely sensetive to various medicines. I don't know what PTB is, however it may not be safe to suddenly quit the treatment. Talk to your doctor how the withdrawal/reduction should be handled till you find a fullfledged alternative. Some teaching medical universities may have division for alternative suggestions (not herbal) like accupuncture etc. I cannot help you much with herbal medicine search, but I have heard about practices by properly licensed people at various places. Good luck and take care.

I get a lot of headaches and I too don't like taking tablets every time I get one, so I use 4head. It's quite good at diverting your attention away from your headache to the tingly/burning sensation on your forehead!! LOL

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

a good walk in the fresh air will help a headache, or even a nap, maybe you are hungry, sometimes headaches can happen due to the body lacking some nutrients. what were you doing to cause headache? were you reading or too close to the telly? maybe you might need to get your eyes tested? it could be eye strain. fresh air always clears the head. get well soon

Meditate, stretch, put heading pads on your neck, warm washcloths over your eyes, take a nap. It all depends on the reason for your headache.
