I hate to say it but Wikipedia has a pretty good description and set of tables

I've always preferred Mark's Handbook for Mechanical Engineers. You can find one in a good library or at a college's engineering library. You can even go to a bookstore and copy down what you need or what you're looking for.

You can try finding values on the Internet - just make sure that the values are reliable, credible and have a source. Mark's has been publishing these values for almost a century. Good luck.
