Im not here to spam or anything, but I know this really great program and you should try to get involved if you are interested in supporting our troops. the website is www.operationhelpingourheroes.com
The site may take a while to load, but you should read through it and maybe try to get involved. Let me know what you think :) P.S. its not my program, so I'm not trying to take any credit for anything.

The best way to support our troops is to have an exit plan...which should have been part of the ORIGINAL war plan. Whether or not you believe in this (or any) war, there has to be a plan to extract your forces...that does not change with every passing whim of those in charge. No one wants to feel like they have lost or have to back out of situation which cannot be resolved, but there ALWAYS comes a time when you need to leave. Supporting our troops now is not only while they're in-theater, but after they come back...especially if they have been injured...but also when they've had a number of back-to-back tours which will make returning to civilian pursuits a more difficult transition. See the MANY resources below...(I take no responsibility for the veracity of any of them)

PS: If you have the urge to shout back at me for these opinions, please know that I'm an honorably-discharged vet myself. I also know and support REAL soldiers deployed overseas.

Best way to help is enlist, help shorten the tours. Do it. Call your recruitment center tomorrow. Just go in and sign.
