i had my best best guy friend and waz always starring at me then my friend came up to me and told me that the guy liked me and the next day he asked me out i said yes. then i broke up wit him cuz after a while it felt weird. and now we dont even talk at all

The thing is, most people say it ruins your friendship. However, this is not true....in many cases. Why? Let's see, if there's a girl and a guy who are really good friends, and then they both realize that they have feelings for each other so they decide to go out. But when they break up and don't talk to each other anymore, was there really a good friendship between the two? No. If he was your true friend and if you were his, you two would still be talking to each other no matter what you went through, that's what friends are. If not, then I guess you weren't really /good/ friends.
And to answer your question, yes, it's normal because if you go out with someone who is NOT your friend, you don't actually KNOW them like that do you? That's why people always say, if you want to go out with a guy, get to know him first, be his friend.

It's great being friends with someone before going out with them, but only if you suit each other as a couple.
I had an experience almost just like yours. Like you, my relationship with a good friend didn't work out either. It was just the fact we weren't good together as a couple and were much better as friends.
You should tell your guy friend this. It would be terrible for you to loose a great friend because of what happened. Talk it all over with him but please mention that if it didn't feel right for one of you the relationship would never have worked, it's a simple fact of life.

Now first rule of the game is you don't get involved with your friends.It is going to get complecated adn when that happens its over. Its good to have a guy friend cause you can talk to them about anything try to remember that. We all make mistakes so try again with someone else and remember to maintain that friendship okay.

I think it is normal because you have known him for a while and you probably want to take a higher step then just being friends and that is totally ok!

no, if he's a good friend then to keep it that way then don't date ,sure way to loose a good friend.
