I have an almost 2 year-old Boxer girl who has several problems whenever we try and introduce her to other dogs:
a) She is very dominant and tries to make the other dog act submissively.
b) When she wants to play with another dog, she growls. I've been told that this is a "Boxer thing", but no other dogs get that she wants to play, rather than fight with them!

Enroll in a group obedience class that has an animal behavior specialist instructor (ask your vet to reccomend local clubs or trainers). This will work best - to have her interact with other dogs with correct supervision & intervention by a pro.

Boxers do NOT growl when they want to play with other dogs - that is part of her behavior problem.

Enroll in a good obedience class with a qualified instructor. Not all trainers are created equal, so do some research in your area by calling around (you can try your local kennel club for ideas). If your dog has dominance issues, you will need to work with a trainer before trying a Dog Daycare situation but that will also be a help.

We have a dog park where i live where people can bring there dogs to play, run and socialize. Its awsome and hits HUGE! all fenced in . There are rules though, pick up after them, they must be fixed and most of all they cant be younger then 16 weeks old.
call you Human society/ pet store, i"m sure if theres a dog park in your city they will know about it.
Your dog needs to socialize more often, keep a look out for your dogs tail, you'll know if she is mad or just growl playing.

boxers are very boisterous and can seem aggressive when with other dogs cos they bounce around alot.we have had boxers for years.you need to find a friend that has got a friendly largish dog that can cope with your dog and let them play.we also took ours to dog training classes cos it helps them mix with other dogs plus the trainer will help you stop the aggression thing.ours never fully played with other dogs but it became less embarrassing.its the owners who are worse than the dogs cos they see a big dog bound up and start moaning get your dog away!!

You might want to get some obedience training and also maybe try day camp for dogs (if you are near a petsmart, petco, or other dog oriented business you should have no problem finding these services).

Muzzle her and than try it. And take her where she can choose other large dogs to play with. But remember you are responsilbe for any harm she may cause to another dog. Good luck.
