We are purchasing a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup tomorrow. The one we are getting is out of state and they said the only difference in the one we looked at at their lot is the one we are getting does not have the off road package. What is included in that package that we will not get?

I have the Diesel model--only difference is a sticker on the side, painted red shocks (big whoop!), tow hooks, skid plates, painted color grill,and off road tires. It had the steel 17" wheels, no fog lights. It it is the Hemi --you get the alum wheels, fog lights, different rear end, and limited slip.

The TRX4 Off-Road package ($1,250) comes with unique 17-inch aluminum wheels on LT275/70R17 off-road tires, 3.92 rear axle, limited-slip differential, skid plates for the transfer case and front suspension, special red-painted shocks, tow hooks, fog lamps, and a heavy-duty cooling system. Dodge offers the full package only with SLT trim and 4WD; however, more limited TRX4 and TRX packages are available for other models.

Probably nothing. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram. I love it. I have the four door style. It drives like a car. This is my third Dodge. There tough Trucks.

I have a o1 3/4 ton Ram sport package with off road, you get lower gear ratio, skid plate and probably a higher lift. If its a man's truck you want get the off road package !!!!

My son has a 2003 sidestep Ram and loves it! it is so cool looking. a pair of twelve months in the past he positioned new tires on it and rims and he additionally offered the variety that has the chrome bumpers and fenders. seems spectacular classification!
