Radiation really is not a problem associated with the use of fossil fuels.
Explosions only occur if a source of heat is added to the fossil fuels.
There is a limited supply of fossils fuels but a large reserve was just found recently in Canada, so it is not as limited as we thought. Natural gas however is more limited.
Air pollution is a problem that burning of fossil fuels contributes to.

Radiation is a product of atomic energy, fission, not fossil fuels, which uses oxidation.
