I've recently painted my apartment with Behr water based paint. I was told that if you get it on the floor just use soap and water. This was not true. I was was recomended to use Goo Be Gone. That definetly was not true. Can anyone please give me some just genuine expert advice?????

how much did you spill? what type of floor? it should come up, as the prior answer says may have to do light scraping with a fingernail, or a spatula, or you might need to take a paper towel, wet it with warm water and dish soap, let it sit on the spot for a bit, then persuade the paint off, even one of those green scrubbing pad..
good luck...

What kind of floor did you spill on? We have never had bad luck cleaning up waterbased paint. Soap and water if wet, light scraping (I've used my thumbnail) when dried. Might be kind of tough if you spilled on linoleum with texture. Good luck!
