I bought a regular white sofa, that is not a sectional can i add a separate sectional to make it look like 1?

my sofa is just a regular white sofa, and now i wish i had bought a sectional but too late i already bought it. can
i add a white sectional piece to it even though my sofa is not a sectional? will it look odd or do u think i can transform a regular sofa into a sectional-giving the illusion it is a sectional

no it will look very strange....buy another sofa just like the one you have and put them across from one another with a coffee table in between....add pillows ..... or sell it and buy a sectional......good luck

I think it's unlikely it will look good. Most sofas have arms on both sides. If you add a sectional the arm will be there. It's also unlikely you can match whites (whites vary a lot in tone) or the fabric.

I would suggest getting a complimentary piece like a love seat or chair in stead.
