Does anyone know if Beasley is still alive? And if so, how old is he now and what does he do now, since he was typecast as Hooch? Has he done any other movies?

The film was made way back in 1989. He died in 1992 although he was born in 1978 so he was 11 years old in the film. It was the only film he made and I couldn't find out whether he had any living descendants.

If he is still alive, then he's very old. But to be honest, I seriously doubt that he's alive. Usually the larger the dog, the shorter the life span.

That movie is pretty old, and that breed of dog (Dogue De Bordeaux) only lives around 9-10 years, so...I seriously doubt it.
