Keep busy. Go out with old friends. Read a good book, see good movies (but avoid romance and sad movies). If you need to cry then cry. If you need to, talk it our with friends. Try not to do this too often; it's better to have fun with friends at this time. Visit family.

Breaking up is hard but it will be better soon!

take a deep breath then u ask your girlfriends over and spend time with them and u will forget at least for a while. then u can take out a piece of paper and pen and list all the advantages of u two splitting up and what is in store for your future love life. its okay to feel a little bad about it, but its not okay to let time and pple pass u by b/c u are stuck in the dark corner.

Find the next guy and keep trying..... don't look back, because you even said that it wasn't the best relationship. That one was a learning experience, now move on to something better.

I told this to my one my friends “you can never do the right thing when it comes to breakups” so do the best thing for your self… you tried now make your peace with it and go on get drunk listen to some good music “don’t drive home and take a friend” go home cry about it and get it out of your system

I am going through the same thing right now... I keep reminding myself and being reminded that both people have to want to make it work. Both people have to try sometimes. Mine didn't try, sound like yours didn't either. Life will get so much better for you - immerse yourself in the things you love and try to distance your mind from him. You will heal and you will find happiness without him. I promise. Just keep hanging on! :)
