The most important thing I can tell you is that God loves you, and He doesn't want you to carry this burden of guilt any longer.
Furthermore, He has done everything possible to lift that burden from you. Our greatest problem can be summarized in one word: sin. It isn't only your problem; it's the problem of the whole human race. Because of sin we are separated from God, and down inside we know we haven't measured up to His standards.
That's why we feel guilty—and we feel guilty because we are guilty! The Bible says, "My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear" (Psalm 38:4). But we can't get rid of this burden on our own. We can deny it or suppress it, but we can't eliminate it by ourselves. Only God can take it away.
And that is precisely what He did when He allowed His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us. Christ was sinless and pure—but on the cross all our sins were placed on Him, and He took the punishment and death we deserve. The Bible says, "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us" (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Don't carry the burden of your sin and guilt any longer. Instead, open your heart to Christ and by faith give your burden to Him.

As a warning I would find some quiet place away from any possible hidden microphones and cameras.Little big brother may be listening and watching uno. Having the ability to learn to forgive yourself is another way. Repentance like quiting bad habits should be part of it also. Is there a point in confessing sins you don't have any intention of stopping?

Even if you never confess it, God still knows about it, so your best bet would be to confess it to God and ask his forgiveness. While your on your knees anyway, ask Him to forgive you of all your sins, turn from the sinful lifestyle, ask Jesus in to your heart and decide to follow Him. Ask him to strengthen you against future temptations.

Ask God directly for forgiveness and repent ...turn away from it...then surrender that situation to God. Ask for His help to make the changes in your heart needed for you to stop sinful behavior. You will be rid of it once it is given over to God for His correction

Well, the easiest way to do that would be to just pray to Jesus and repent. We are told many times in the Bible to do so. Acts 2:38 says: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I have recieved this same spirit. It's really amazing what God can do. Jesus never fails to amaze me. He also is quick to forgive. Trust me, He will change your life if you let Him.

Take it to Jesus. Ask Him to forgive you, and turn from that sin. He is a loving, Merciful, and forgiving God. Pray ask Him for strength, and guidance. Jesus will never leave you, nor forsaken you.

First of all who was the sin against. You should ask their forgiveness first (unless asking them would hurt them more). then you forgive yourself. then talk to your God. But do as your Jesus says, go talk to your god quietly and by yourself in the empty places.

By confessing it to a priest, getting absolution from him, and then doing the assigned penance|
The priest is an *instrument* of God, as his "I absolve you" frees you from all of your sins, as the power of God works through the ministry of the priest|
Penance, confession, or reconciliation (the three terms for it), is one of the *seven sacraments* instituted by Christ, to channel divine grace to the soul for our sojourn here on earth, as we hope to attain eternal life in the hereafter|
