Take it to a mechanic if you can't figure it out. You likely have to remove the entire light assembly to replace the bulb. My question is, are you sure it's the bulb and not the fuse? Replacing the fuse is much cheaper and far easier. Check it out.

Constance, flow to Autozone, Pep Boys, or Checkers and get the restoration instruction manual on your Ford concentration. it is going to offer photos and directions on a thank you to do a tone of self restoration. i opt to recommend everybody have one so that they are in a position to do the lil stuff that the shops nonetheless fee you an arm and a leg to repair.

I understand you not wanting to take a Ford Escort to the shop, I'd be embarrassed myself, but it's only 10 dollars. Suck it in, pay up, leave it for someone who knows what they're doing and save yourself a headache.

You need to remove the rear panel from the car. You will be able to reach your taillights just fine.
