I don't really mind ghosts but I'm not sure of it's intentions. My three year old son see's things a lot, I believe him due to his expressions and he will not talk willingly about it. It is in his bedroom and I have seen too many documentories on spirits and possesion. I'm sure a lot of people think that I am crazy but I don't care, there is something here with us and it's not natural. Ihave been told about sage and holy water. Anyone have anything other than these suggestions. I want to know if it's here or not?

I have always been skeptical of ghosts but of late I keep getting a feeling that my son (who is in Iraq and fine) comes into the room with me. It is not a bad feeling, but one of love and security. I am going through a divorce that has torn our family apart badly and I wonder if somehow I am calling to him for comfort...or, if he is coming just so that I know he is okay and there for me.

When I was younger I had a time like this with both my grandmothers, who were very, very spiritual women, but passed when I was very young. Again, no words were said, but I had a great feeling of peace come over me.

My grandson does have times when he feels certain people come to him and tell him things. He is extremely gifted and this has been going on since he was four. The things he is told are true or messages that are very real. My research on this phenom with children is that they are more open for this type of experience because they do not set up the skeptical and critical blocks that we do as adults.

I find this subject fascinating.

If your three year old son heard anything violent(e.g. scream),
something horrible happened in that house long before you moved in. Find out the history of the house as much as you can. From your story, either someone got horribly murdered or suicide. A restless spirit probably seeking help rather than intent of harming you. However, if you think otherwise, seek the help of experienced medium or psychic that might sort things out for you to decide your next move.

It could be a ghost(usually a mindless, spent energy left by the deceased) or a incarnated spirit which could further be categorized into benign and malevolent. Pangel, who is a regular here, is a medium. She might be able to give you proper advice.

BTW, You or your son are not crazy.

Many years ago, I used to be involved in tarot cards and such, so I know that there are demonic influences out there. I'm a Christian now, and have done extensive reading in the Bible about these things. I know, that as a Christian, we are given the power to cast out demons. Not in the way you see on TV. And not the way Catholics do it. The Bible says that we have the power over demons. As a Christian, I can tell them to leave, in Jesus' name, and by His authority, they must leave. Not on my authority. My authority only rests in the power of the Holy Spirit, which God gave me when I became His. I know this might all sound goofy & odd, but I know it to be true. I have told a demonic spirit to depart from my home, where my mom had invited it in, years before, in order to help her read her tarot cards (her spirit guide). I say this in all sincerity, not trying to mess with your mind or convert you to anything you're not interested in. But, the moment I asked the spirit to leave, it left, and never returned. It recognized that I had the authority to tell it to leave, and it had to obey. If you can get your hands on a concordance, and do a word search on spirit, demons and devils, you'll find many places in the Bible where it talks about how they were dealt with. Since yours is a spiritual problem, this is the best place to start. If you are a Christian, you have nothing to fear. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and have all the authority you need to get rid of this thing. Your son does not have to be a Christian for this to happen, especially since he's so young, and is not at the age of accountability. If you want to know anything else, please feel free to contact me. <*)))><

most polterguist/possesion cases are our own energy manifesting through fears etc
and this can become quite real
and children are great little mediums for picking up on this
now i dont believe this energy to be a conscious one , by which i mean it isnt a lingering spirit or anything nasty like demons etc
it is energy plain and simply
and the best way to deal with energy is to replace it with something stronger
a possitive energy
so try simple things like painting the room bright , playing happy music , have a kids party .... put the love back in the room
i know this sounds too simple ... but worth a try eh ?
you may be surprised xx

Before you jump to conclusions, please try again to get your son to talk about this. He might feel like you won't believe him, and that could be causing him to not speak of this. However, assure him that you are interested and want to know about it. It could be just an over-active imagination, or bad dreams. Perhaps a trip to the doctor would help, to get a professional opinion.

Bringing those other "remedies" and such in the house might cause the boy to be afraid of a lot of things, thinking that ghosts are after him. See a professional. Don't bother with the priest; get a doctor's opinion.

We had this problem at my dads house. He had a mini farm and one of each kind of animal died. We saw flashing lights in the darkest corner of the house. before we lived there, an old woman did. She died while she was sleeping. Go to a church and get a small bottle of holy water. each night for a week, sprinkle some in your sons bedroom. the ghost or spirit should go away.

I think your crazy for staying! I don't understand people that stick around if they think something is in their house, especially if they have young children. GET YOUR CHILD OUT OF THERE!!!! I'll sleep in my car before I spend the night in a haunted house. If you insist on staying then I would have a catholic priest come bless the place. You don't have to be catholic to have a priest come out to do that.

I had a similar experience with a guy I was dating, and his young son. The child would be talking to "somebody." We just let it go until we moved to another place. If I were you, I'd go to the library and check out some of Sylvia Brown's books. She talks a great deal about how to get rid of unwanted entities. All the best!

It is true only if you believe it..Maybe it is only in his mind..Do you keep many electronical stuff in function in his room? If yes, then you know that it generates many electrical fields, interferentions and all these affects the brain even if you don't realise.it can hapen to many people..but I don't know your situation., I think the best solution for the moment would be that your son to sleep in the room where you sleep, so he won't be afraid

many years ago scientists discovered similar entities do actually exist and needed a word to describe them. we now know them as 'neighbors'. they are an unruly bunch, stomping about in the night, making creaking sounds, sometimes making an ungodly racket, talking in muffled voices...absolutely eerie. speak to your landlord as they can sometimes help exercise those really noisy neighbors. if that fails to work, go ahead and move.
