Has anyone done this??? Do you like it??? Was it painful?!? Do many guys get wrist tattoos done??? Thanks for your responses!!! Please do not tell me I shouldn't get a tattoo!!! :-)

I think it would be fine if that is what you want. My husband has his initials in Old English tattooed on his bicep and they look good. All the people ripping on you for wanting your initials, don't listen to them. They are idiots. If that is the tat you want, then go for it. Do what makes you happy.

I'm sorry but I don't like that idea. You and those who know you already know your name and therefore your initials. I'd go with something that provides greater insight to a belief, outlook on life, personality trait or faith that you hold dear, like a peace sign, cross or one of those chinese characters.
I haven't seen many wrist tattoos, plenty of ankle tattoos, though. Like all tattoos, done well it looks good.

I have words in my tattoos, but not just tattoos of words. If I was going to put a tattoo on my forearm I would rather it be of a bad a.ss design. You could always work your initials into any image. But, if YOU want your initials on YOUR arm, go for it.
EDIT: I have a tat in this particular area. I wasn't too painful. Good luck......

lots of guys have wrist tattoos and lots of people get their names and initials tattooed on their forearms but it's not something i really like. i guess because it's not very creative or original. it requires no thought or artistic ability on the artists part. but that's just my opinion. if that is what you want and you think you will like it then definitely go for it.

Between your arm and your elbow, that would be the forearm, and yes that would be okay, but get it closer to your wrist and make it small.

why do you need your own name on yourself? do you forget your name often? personal opinion, we have books for reading. i think bodies and tattoos are images to be looked and admired/lusted after?!?! who can do that with a word?
