Lol. Well, being told I'm pretty cute, I'll give you inside advice on what girls are thinking.
Step one is to make sure she notices you. Don't be disgusting or act like you're over her. If anything, she's over you. Laugh at her jokes, comment on the weather, be cool, and not overbearing.
Think you've got her in place? Good! Next, girls like little gifts to start out with, get her chocolate on valentines day, a little jewelry, a stuffed animal, you know, show her that you care.
Don't do these things out of order by the way.
Make sure she notices you and smiles around you. Say hi to her in the hallway. Don't do that stupid secret valentine letters or whatever. They're just annoying. Be calm, collected.
The first time you want to take a girl on the date can't be a time of awkward silence, so take her to a movie (all action, all the time). Get some inside info on what kinds of movies she likes (pretend you like them too). Make sure you bring enough money for her ticket, your ticket, the popcorn, and maybe some late night ice cream.
If all this blows over nicely, it's smooth sailing from there. Try to keep her in your hold be the frequent gift, but don't rely on gifts for good old fashion bf and gf things.

Really, why do you want a 'hot' girlfriend? What are your motives behind it? Besides deserving it, why would you want someone goodlooking? I'm not going to make assumptions, just going to tell you what I think.
Looks are NOT what it is all about. ANY girl will not like it if you go after her just for her looks. ANY girl will tell you that you should like them for themselves on the INSIDE rather than the outside. If you happen to like a girl and she turns out to be hot, then consider that a bonus. There are so many girls that could not be labeled 'hot' that have so much more than the hotties. Don't think about looks, think about the person behind the looks.
