New Orleans and there should be a cell phone ban! There are so many people who are driving around here talking on their cellphone not paying attention. Almost daily I have to watch out for some idiot on their cellphone so they don't hit my car. If you get a call and you must take it then pull over into a parking lot or something. I'm talking about in the city.. if you are on the highway and not a lot of traffic that's fine then I think. "Hang up and drive"!!!

I think there should be a cell phone ban while driving. Let the people in the car who are not driving talk and if you need to talk pull over and stop. It is not safe to drive and talk at the same time. It is not safe for the other cars surrounding you.

Good, I hope it spreads through the United States. Driving is a full time job, whatever you have to say on the phone can wait until you are parked. Or to put it another way "HANG UP AND DRIVE!!!"
There should be exceptions if you are on the phone while moving to report a crime or accident on 911 of course, otherwise stay off the phone.
