This is a hard one. I have a couple hundred cookbooks at least, but my two most used are Betty Crocker (the red binder) and the one that taught me how to cook years ago, the Better Homes & Gardens one in the red/white plaid binder. I've bought several new versions of it over the years.
And both have pictures, tips, tricks, substitutions, nutrition advice, everything.

the 3 ingrediant cook book. It has the absolute best tasting recipies in it and everyone of them only has 3 ingrediants look for it anyone can cook from it

I love "Vegetarian Times" Complete Cookbook.
There are over 600 recipes, cooking techniques, menu's, & glossary of ingredients.
Great book.

A collection of friend's and family's recipes. I have hundreds of such recipes I gathered over the years. Most of which I have tried personally. If a fire broke out at my house, that would be the first thing I would grab to save!
