pleae help me with my 6 dogs?

i have 5 dogs and then i got another one so that makes 6 he is a blacklab mix and he is a year old he is hyper all the time and it makes me other dogs not want to play with him how do i get them to all get along but them is there like a food or pill i can buy for all of them to calm down they ranger from the ages of 9months-9 years old and they are all hyper but i would like them to calm down someone told me to ask here and i shoudl get some answes to help me with my problem

They are out of control because they are bored and want attention. You will have to spend a lot of time with them in order to get that under control.

There are a few concerns in this case. Dogs are pack animals, if they are in big groups they begin to establish pack order. The age range you have can be very stressful for the dogs and may lead to poor behaviour. You need to keep them very busy and you absolutely must have them ALL trained. If one is disobedient, then they all will pick up that one dog's bad habits.

Dogs are by nature active animals, if they are forced into a sedentary lifestyle, they will have a poor quality of life. This means they will act out. They may not be all that hyper, it is probably just the sheer number of dogs, six dogs with normal activity rates is a lot to handle.

NEVER medicate a dog for hyperactivity, and NEVER try to feed them something to slow them down. If food or medicine are altering behaviour then they are also altering physical factors that will hurt their overall health.

Exercise (first)-at least an hours walk every day. Alternatively or in addition to walking you can train them to walk on a treadmill. Also you can get doggie back packs to intensify the walk (can reduce the amount of time needed to get them tired)

Dicsipline (second) you need to set rules, boundaries and limitations. They don't get away with being hyper.

Affection (third). Only when the dogs are calm submissive do you give affection and that includes feeding. Feed the calmest dog first, then wait for the others to be calm and feed them in order.

Drugging the dogs won't fix this problem long term. You need to be the pack leader.

what i suggest you do is if the new dog is the one thats the MOST hyper, go and take a dog obedience training course, it will help!

lots of toys and mine love raw hide(i have 3) and i also have a large create-kennel an if they act up i put them in it.
