Well, I really hope that they can't see us in like a physical sense. How embarrasing it would be to think that my grandmother could see all the things that I've done, do or will do.
I do think that there is something about energy that society doesn't understand yet. I do believe that there are protective energies around us and you'll have to decide for yourself if you think that your friend was or is a source of protective energy for you. It could be as simple as the fact that you think that your friend is protecting you so you are more careful and safer in your actions and the result is that you are protected.
Either way, it's a nice to have had a good friend. You must have been a good friend yourself and will undoubtedly have more.

The Bible doesn't answer all our questions about heaven—although some Bible students believe that those who've already entered heaven can see what happens on earth. They cite passages such as Hebrews 12:1: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
Nowhere in the Bible are we told to pray to those who've gone to heaven before us, or to other heavenly beings. Nor are we to worship them; when the Apostle John tried to worship an angel who had given God's message to him, the angel rebuked him: "Do not do it! ... Worship God!" (Revelation 22:9).
Why is this? The reason is because we don't need anyone in addition to Christ to intercede for us. God loves us, and in His love He sent His only Son into the world to take away our sins and open heaven's door to us. Only one thing can keep us from God's presence, and that is our sin. But on the cross Christ paid the penalty for all our sins—not part of them, but all of them—and now we can enter God's presence without fear through Christ.
This is why the Bible says, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16, KJV). If you have never accepted Christ, or if you're unsure of your salvation, turn to Him today and ask Him to forgive your sins. Then by faith accept His promise that your sins are forgiven, and now you can come boldly into God's presence because you are His child.

No my friend. Read Ecclesiastes 9:5-6. in the 1611 Kjv Bible. It says, the dead knows nothing. There are many false people in the world who claim to put you in touch with your departed love one. Please don"t get involved with that. You can read Deuteronomy 18:9-12 for more about this. The devil himself, can transform himself into an angel of light to deceive you. If your friend was saved, then your friend is in Heaven, with the Lord. The Bible says, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. I am sorry for the loss of your friend. Keep your eyes on Jesus, He can bring you through anything!

They cannot. Dead is dead. Nobody has ever communicated after dying - it's impossible, although there are many stories about it, which some people unfortunately believe.

She's in heaven and watching over you. I had my sister communicate... in a dream, but it was only a note. So only inn dreams you can comunicate

If you believe in them you can interact with them.
They will always be there but only when you take time to listen to them will you know their there.
try Ouija boards they are really good

Those answers will not be ours until we die. I pray those I loved who have passed do see me and do pray for me. They don't talk to me, but I often have good dreams they are in.

No they cant once in heaven or hell they cannot comunicate with us nor see us on earth.
