I don't think I asked to be born and no I would not ask again if I could. I however believe that God knew me before I was born. That is what the Bible says in the book of Jeremiah 1:3

" Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you. "

Yes, there are biblical prophecies that indicate that some people are "them," before they are born. Isaiah says that the Messiah would be called by name from the womb. (See chapter 44 & 45.) It would stand to reason therefore that it is possible that everyone is known to God before their physical birth.

It would also stand to reason that you at least agreed to your physical life, if you believe in God and believe that God treats everyone fairly, because how can you consider the life of a severely deformed person from birth as fair, without that person's concent? Surely God doesn't get off on sending some souls to physical earth to be tortured all their lives. But it happens in lots of different ways. People suffer all through life.

If we don't ask for it, then God has a lot of explaining to do.

Like most people, even though I suffer and will continue to suffer as long as I live, I would probably opt for another life in the physical if asked by God. I would probably be one of the ones tugging on God's sleeve begging for another life. That's because an eternal life of doing nothing would get very boring after a little while.

Regards,

Chris

I did not ask. It was God's will, and in this, I was filled with joy to fulfill that will. That is what I remember. I also remember seeing Earth coming at me at a great velocity, but I had no fear at all about arriving at such speed. Behind me were 3 of my most beloved friends, and they were dressed like monks in brown habits, and were peace-loving giving me the utmost consideration. Entering this world was like a veil being drawn behind me. They could easily see through that veil towards us, but we cannot see back through that veil at all, and even so, are unaware, for the most part, that it is there.

Would I do it again? Yes. For I remember what force propelled me here: it was pure, unmitigated Joy.

I would ask to be born far into the future when religion is gone and people realize that all we need is each other.

[2:29] How can you disbelieve in God? You were without life and He gave you life, and then He will cause you to die, then restore you to life, and then to Him shall you be made to return.
