i was searching on the web and i found http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060821075757AAeKuq0 .. i was wondering why they attack muslims and islam ?? by these bad words( ..animals ..pray to destroy them all ..bloodthirsty religion..Islam is not even a religion...They are using the same reasoning as Hitler...ect ) i support freedom of speach but i'don't support disrespect of religions .. how they think that muslims like hitler while iraqis and palastinians and lebanes were killed by non muslims and still .. every country have the good and the bad ..why they think that we all bn-ladn ..i don't support him and many ppl in middle east don't too .. but i support the man who try to Protects his home his family his land against unwelcome ppl think that oil is more valu than these simple ppl .(no more Lies plz)

they think dat a person protecting his home n family is wrong while marching into oder ppl's country n dominating them is absolutely fine!

It's hard not to have a bad image of a religion like Islam when all you see on TV and printed in magazines are images of Muslim people blowing themselves up, other Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.
No, of course, you guys aren't all out doing that, but that is where comments like the ones you mentioned: calling you animals, pray for it's destruction, saying you are bloodthirsty, etc. - come from.

An Islamic Terrorist Group called Hezbollah attacked Israel, and they Defended themselves. Hezbollah put armed Men in peoples Homes. They Put Missiles in peoples Homes. What was Israel to do ?

I think people attack Islam for many different reasons. I think Islam is a false religion because of its stance that Jesus Christ was a prophet and not God personified.
Others attack Islam because of what some of its followers are doing.
If people are going to dislike Islam they should dislike it for the right reason and that reason is that Jesus Christ was NOT just a prophet He is Lord!
I think that many of the cultures that follow Islam are to blame for what others perceive Islam to be. Islam is suppose to be the religion of peace but some cultures have perverted the meaning and that's what the world sees.

Muslims have been killing non-Muslims since the inception of the religion in the mid-7th Century.
The Muslims who are killed every day by 'others' are actually mostly killed by their terrorist brethren. Even Sunnis and Shii'a can't get along.
Islam is an inherently warlike religion. It is not just the extremists, becuase the mainstream is not speaking out against them. You can't even convert from Islam becuase you face death, according to your own Islamic law. Too bad, becuase the whole basis for Christianity is that of love. Jesus killed nobody. Muhammed slaughtered thousands!
