What is it that makes you believe your religion is the correct religion and that all other religions are wrong? Over 300 religions in this world, the majority have holy books and many have virgin births and resurrections. How can any of you be confident in your own religion?

Please dont give remarks such as; 'my religion was shown to man by God' - many religions supposedly have.

It's strange how they can reject so many gods but cling to their own..
I often remind brainwashed theists that, "Mankind has invented about 8,000 gods. You reject 7,999 of them... only 1 less than me."

but most of the time it bounces right off their ignorance and hits me in the eye.

It is wrong for you to make such an assumption . Clearly if a man is sincere in his belief then no just God would punish him for following his chosen path . As many follow the religion of their parents or that which prevails in their culture then it is logical that their will be many expressions of an eternal truth . Their are many routes to the summit of a mountain but ultimately all paths lead to the top .
Even travellers who are in denial about the journey will eventually find themselves emerging at the summit.

There is only one God and it goes by many names.
Religions are like the spokes on a tire.
As you move toward the Center/God/The truth,
you become closer together.
If you find your religion separates you from the others,
than you're going the wrong way.

I think all religions have an element of truth but none of them has the whole picture because God is utterly beyond us. The fault is not with God but with humanity's understanding of her/him. I like cs lewis'sunderstanding of god in the Narnia stories. he tells the young enemy soldier in the Last Battle that someone who does good even if they don't know who aslan is, he recognises, but those who say they worship him yet commit evil he doesn't.

I don't believe that I have the one true religion. Different people think different ways, and that's how it should be. My religion, Asatru, is the right one for me but it certainly is not the right one for everyone else. Each religion has something to offer and each person has to find their own path in life.

I remember someone in my class at school getting our R.E. teacher tied in knots about this. She said that it didn't matter what religion you were because God respected everyone's faith and so should we. But she couldn't give any answers as to why people fight wars in the name of their God or why some religions openly condemn others.

It's you that say "other religions are wrong". I stick to what I believe and I trust in God to deliver. It isn't for me or anyone else to say that other religions won't find their way to God.

Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

I think religion is the problem it is out spirtually that makes us believe in a higher being (God, and Jesus) it is our faith and beliefs that makes us who we are spirtually Me personally I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me so I can go to heaven but I don't put down others for feeling differently

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is universal. Everybody cooks and eat pasta and that is how worship is done.
