It would seem that no honest scholar could believe such revisionism, as every ancient Scriptural manuscript is consistent in teaching that Isaac was the child to be sacrificed.

if you want to debate this it is Okay but you will not get your answer here believe me.

since you are saying "as every ancient Scriptural manuscript is consistent in teaching that Isaac was the child to be sacrificed." Can you tell me whether it is true that in the Bible in one location it says that Ishmael is the eldest son and in another it says that it is Isaac?

I mean if this is NOT the case then there is no result of the argument.

AND

if this is the CASE then if the Sacrifice was for the ONLY SON it has to be Ishmael if he is the eldest or Isaac if he is the eldest?

SO ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE WHO IS THE ELDEST?

God bless

The Quran doesn't say which son is to be sacrificed, but the Bible says it is to be his only son. Issac (as) was born 14 years after Ishmael (as) so the only only son Abraham (as) ever had was Ishmael (as).

The point isn't which son. The point is the devotion to God. Why make it an issue for debate? We all agree that Abraham (as) was a great prophet, and the first to return to monotheism in a world gone astray. Why argue over details?

Yes we know it was Ishmael who was going to be sacrificed and not Issac.

They fail to se that Ishmeal was born of the bondwoman named Hajar, & that Sarah told Abraham to kick out Ishmeal from their house because Ishmeal was causing so much trouble for Issacc, & that trouble has always followed their seed line.

Yes that is what we believe. We also believe that Jesus was only a prophet. You have your beliefs and we have ours. No use in trying to argue about it.
