The live in will have room and board paid by us. The children are 3 yr old triplets. The nanny does not drive so she could not pick up from school which leaves my oldest in after school care, the nanny is not have citizenship. She would have holidays off if we have it off.

All I know is that I've seen ad's for nannies making more money than I do.

Reminder, even if your nanny is not a citizen, you are still legally obligated to pay her social security tax. Check with your CPA for the details.

If your nanny is not a citizen, make sure that she has a valid work permit and social security number. Since you will be her employer, you will face charges if you employ an illegal alien. There have been lots of crackdowns lately amongts nanny, gardeners and construction workers in LA so make sure you and your kids are safe!

I never had a nanny. YMCA after school program and fully licensed child care programs from the age of six months on.

it really depends on her age experience and references, and english, the average with room and board and i mean a room not a closet with a bed, is about 650/ month plus travel expenses iuf she takes the children anywhere on public transit i have seen it as high as 2000 /month in brentwood and use of the family vehicle if they drive
