That depends. Are you hot? If you are hot then I don't care about the goth thing.

I expect plenty of good looking men would find you, a Gothic girl, quite a wonderful catch to go out with. My dear, why do you doubt yourself so? If it's the Gothic thing, then that's a statement you have chosen to make with your stying and color and if you don't like it, you can easily change the look. But if you do like it, go with it and sport it proudly. Your question sounds as if you find something undesirable in being a Gothic girl. Or is it that you simply feel undesirable, period? I'm sure you are full of wonderful things inside and out that would be desirable to any available man. Hold your head up, flaunt your style, hold those shoulders back proudly and go get em, honey! You just need to love you for all your greatness! YOU are all anyone would be proud to call theirs in any style or fashion! Keep smiling!

Labels cannot make me love or hate you. If I got to know you and then I found I liked you then of course I would. Now if you hide behind the image of being a Gothic girl and never let me get to know you then I wouldn't go out with you.

I grew up in the sixties and early 70's. Hippie Days. I watched people dress wildly and evocatively in an attempt to be as hip and happening as the times. Guys with hair down to their butts....girls with flowers painted on their faces. Love beads..vests...all the hippie accoutrement of the time. They dressed that wasy to be seen as individuals--different from the establishment. What they didn't get was that they were being jsut like everybody else in their attempt to be diferent and unique.

In this day and age, there aren't any original thoughts left. That makes it tough for the person trying to set himself or herself apart.

I'l be the first to admit that I don't get the Goth stuff. Never been a fan of Bauhous. I think most Goth kids try to hard. A comedian I once heard described a girl as so Goth, she farted bats!

Goth, like hippies, like disco and like Rap (God willing) are just phases we go through...Rites of passage we cling to until we're mature enough to shake the need for outward expression.

If you choose to be Goth, chances are only another Goth guy will go out with you...same for the stoners...the preppies are whatever the terms are in today's lexicon. Birds of a feather.

Be happy where ever you are in your life but this phase won't last. You'll get to wear you HATE black eyeliner.

I don't understand why people try so hard to be something they're not. I'm not a big fan of gothic people...at all.
