Just how devoted to God are you?

As with everything I ask, this is purely out of curiosity.

If God appeared to you tonight and said that He needed you in His Kingdom right now and that was what He would really wish you to chose BUT you had the choice to stay with your family until you died a more timely death as a very old person what would you do? An explaination of your thought process would be nice too.

I am not devoted and do not believe.

I have a lot of difficulty with the concept of God, on one hand why do's he allow all the suffering in the world on the other hand we all have the choice as to whether we do right or wrong and as to weather we allow suffering to happen.
If me going to heaven< fat chance> would make a difference to this world for the better well maybe as long as i knew i would meet my family again, if he just wanted a chat then no.
I don't intend this answer to offend anyone but that's my opinion.

If God appeared to me and told me i could go home to Him there would be no choice i would go in a heartbeat,my life here is just a vapor and with God i will remain forever to know God is to love Him i am totally devoted to Him i have witnessed His love and the 23rd Psalms God does walk with you through the valley of death,i am a witness to it

You must be confused.......When you die you do not go to heaven......your soul is not immortal and does not live on when you die. You are dead in the grave and your soul is merely "asleep"in the grave.....Your soul does not float off to heaven where you roll around and sing or play the harp or do nothing but exist forever. That is a fallacy and unscrupulous misinterpretation by many ill informed and ill studied teachers of the Word of God who profess to be leaders of their church, and is nowhere written in the bible!!.... Jesus is the only mortal soul with the full Spirit of God that has ever ascended into heaven. That's why it doesn't make any sense to pray to dead saints! Jesus is our Only intercessor in heaven. After you die, your soul goes to the grave..."Hades" in the Greeik or "Sheol" in the Hebrew, is the one of the 3 places we call "hell." ........It is written........"According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep". (1 Thessalonians 4:15) ......God's kingdom is coming here to earth in the very near future in our lifetime, (according to the quickening of events happening in Bible prophecy). God will not be here with those who are Joint heirs with Jesus Christ in the Kingdom.. OF ..God on earth. Jesus Christ will establish His government here from the new Jerusalem and His saints (true believers) will reign with Him for the Millennium (1000 yr) rule on earth. God will still be in His Kingdom ..IN..heaven. Shortly After the great White Throne judgment, the earth will be consumed (purified) by fire and made new. A new Kingdom of God on earth will be established. Not until then will we be able to look upon the face of God. Only then will the universe be open to us to be with our Father for eternity in eternity.....

I'm devoted to 2 things.

1) END ALL BELIEF IN GOD

2) STOMP OUT JESUS

if I can do either of those things, I will go down in history as the person who SAVED HUMANITY FROM RELIGION,

and that would be a wonderful thing to be known as!!!

One has to consider the bigger picture. Our time here is finite/limited or short in comparison to eternity. So, I would have to go as HE requested me to. I will see my family again.

I do not go to church because it's hard to choose which one to go to but I do believe in god and I would go with him I know he would watch over my family
