Perhaps a better question would be why on earth would you want to live in Buffalo NY?

What do you mean you are wondering how to do it? Be sure to find schools for the kids if they r of school age. You wouldn't want to move there if you or your husband didn't have a job to go to would you...so. Find out some information about the area, for example, stores, banks in which you can make your transactions, getting driver lisences and the document that you may need. Look up USCIS.Gov to see if there are any papers that your husband needs to file, if any for your since you're canadian. You would want to move to a place that would be convenient both for you and the kids, especially the kids. The whole thing about making new friends, new school, new environment, look for a home that would be close to the park for summer time. You got to do alot of research before you move to another country...especially when you have kids.

If your husband is a US citizen; then so are your kids. You are not a US citizen but you can get a green card in the US if you wish to work and resident alien status, your husband would have to sponsor you. Get US passports (from the US consulate in Canada nearest you) for your husband and each child. Move to the US and start on the paperwork for you. You may have to get an attorney for your resident alien status.

Just because you are married to a US citizen and are the mother of US citizens does not mean the USA is going to let you reside or work here unless you go through all the proper channels and do all the paperwork.

In the USA getting resident alien status is a hard row to hoe.

Okay, here is the straight scoop. Since your husband is living with you and supporting his children, and is a U.S. Citizen, your children Are are U.S. Citizens. You do however need to register their birth at an American embassy if you have not already, so that they are indeed fully citizens. One extra bit of paperwork since (I assume) they were born in Canada rather than the U.S.

Secondly, before you can legally move to the U.S. yourself, your husband will have to file for a spouse visa to bring you over. If all goes well and quickly, this could happen in 9-12 months.

Having children to a US father does not make them US citizens. You will need to contact immigration services. You should likely start with the US consulate closest to you. Just because your husband is a US citizen it does not mean that you will be allowed to move there. You will need to do your research first before moving.
