I am 15 and want to know if I need a passport to fly from lax to minneapolis

As long as it is in the US child no you do not need a passport. As long as you have identification with you showing your photo. Well being 15, i guess you wouldn't have an id card right. Just call the airline and they will tell you exactly what you need to have.

You don't need a passport, but you should have some photo ID. If you have a passport, that's always the best identification you can have.

No. But, it wouldn't hurt to get one so that you have some sort of photo id.
