Micro
Mini
Pop
Carlin (Alternate name for the breed)
George Carlin...(George!)
Mops (Finnish or Dutch name of the breed)
Foo (Chinese slang)
Royal (They were lap dogs to the Chinese emperors)
Ming (Chinese Dynasty)
Han (Chinese Dynasty)
Sun-Tzu (author of The Art of War)
Bandit (the Pug from "Johnny Quest")
Otis (from Milo & Otis)

Perhaps one of these will help...

Orion

EDIT: Dixie, your suggestion reminds me of a friend of mine. Had a Chihuaha named "KILLER" - would always introduce that one first. "Fifi" was his Great Dane, whom he would call after everyone was smiling at the undersized KILLER...You can guess what they were expecting for Fifi...Or another buddy who had a dog name Kat and a cat named Dawg...I think the poor things were neurotic.
