There are lots of different things you can take: herbal remedies which include teas, oils etc.. or there is the patch that you put in your forehead, they sell it in boots & superdrugs. I usually have herbal tea (camomille for stress headaches or mint tea for the morning after!!! For migrane the best option is the patch)

Fortunately there are ways to ease your headache without taking painkillers. Try to stay relaxed and don't worry about things. I think the best way to get rid of it is to sleep. Believe me, it works well.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Old old way that we use is this...

The flap of skin on your hand between your thumb and forefinger. Squeeze it hard between your other thumb and forefinger.
If it doesn't work, swap hands and fingers.
If it's really bad do both hands at the same time!

Buy a lemon, cut it in half, and rub it on your forehead. I've done it and it worked for me. Also try rubbing your temples
