we dont know if we could just get panel and nail it to the celing please help

i saw an ad for this product that allows you to mount a frame to your existing walls, and snap panels into it to finish your basement, but i can not remember the name of the company...

There are a lot of things to consider here. You can waste a lot of time and money by not researching your project before you start. I would start by considering any electrical or plumbing first. Are the walls studded. Insulation requirements. Talk to people at the building centres. Ask friends or relatives if they could guide you. You could also go to your building department and they could give you some information on finishing your basement.
