Well, I'm not obese, but it does want to make me stay in shape so I don't ever become obese. Also it makes me want to encourage people who are obese to lose weight!

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. Although the rate of obese people is high, obviously not every person in America is obese. I don't think anyone ever decided to lose weight because they're American. Please try and be more specific.

I dont know about other people in this country, but it does for me anyway...
Sometimes I feel like I dont want to be catagorized as obese just because I live in the US... so it makes me want to do just about anything to not get any bigger than I already am.

There is a reason why the weight loss business is one of the most profitable here. We have become extremely lazy, and most of us want a quick fix without very much effort.

Probably caused by nervous eating from worrying about all those folks who just can't stand the fact that the US is free and successful.
I really don't understand why seemingly every nation in the world wants to destroy America. And yet we can't keep illegal immigrants out, they just keep coming... from everywhere. And then they complain when they get here because they don't get enough handouts... ???
I'm sure I'm missing something here. I probably need to travel more to get a broader perspective. But frankly I don't want to go anywhere else.
Oh, and I've lost twenty pounds in five weeks and I'll be down to my goal by April :-)

Yes. I just lost 140 lbs over the last year, and feel great!!
