No, you will not get a reservation. It is a clicky restaurant, so unless you are a celeb or politician, forget it.
If you still want the feel of Rao's, Frank Pellegrino's son opened a place in the Theater District which is pretty good. It is called BALDORIA.

Give them a call - but expect to wait anyway. The regulars always get special treatment.
The food is outstanding- it's just great!

The only way you can get in there is to be a member of "the family" or have "connections". Couldn't tell you about the food, since I can't get in.
