If you give a dog anything whether it is bubble gum, paper, glass, your left toe...they will try to eat it and swallow it. Please don't give your dog bubblegum. Dogs can die from bubblegum ingestion, especially if the gum contains xylitol. Please see the following reference:

Shame on you! Why in the hell would you risk your beloved pets health and well being in such a way? Not that you gave him/her the gum, but why would you even consider such a thing? They cannot chew it like a human or blow bubbles, so why? They will just swallow it, and then pay for your stupidity for what could turn out to be a long time. I think you need to re-think your fascination with this, your dog's health could be seriously compromised.

Dont do that, your dog could choke. I heard of a persone who swallowed all the gum they chewed and they had to get there belly pumped. The doctore found a huge blob of gum in her.

Most dogs will eat anything, and love sweet things, so I'm sure it would just gobble it down. (I'm sure it's not the best thing for a dog to eat, but gum IS digestable, that's an old wives' tale that it will get 'stuck' in you)
But later, it might blow a big pink bubble out its butt.

It will probably swallow it, which is bad, especially if you have a toy breed dog. Gum cant be digested so it could get stuck in your dogs intestines.
