I have 5 kids and a husband, so I obviously need a pretty big car. I do NOT want a mini-van, but I need some kind of 7 passenger (2 in the front, 2 in the middle, three in the back) car. What kinds of 7 passenger SUV's are out there?

bmw is the best suv (sav) out there. I know is available as a seven passenger.

Saturn has a new suv out that will hold up to 8 adults comfortably. It is not bad on gas and doesn't look like a mini van. I personally have a saturn vue and it holds 5 adults comfortably. I love my saturn, they are very safe made vehicles and have a 5 star rating, descent on cost too. I only have me, my partner, and my son. Look into it online if you want. They also have other vehicles too if you are looking for used.

My bud does pretty good with a Yokon and another has a Expedition and the other one has the QX45
they are all happy, but when loaded up it is still kind of tight
you could just buy a real full size van and be doing much better
